Dogs Are the Stars at Woofstock 2019

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM) – It was all about the dogs at this year’s Woofstock Festival put on by the Sequoia Humane Society. The fun-filled day kicked off at 10 am at Halvorsen Park and was full of dogs of all shapes and sizes.

Those that attended could grab some food or drinks and mingle with fellow dog owners, or they could pick up some treats or a new toy for their pup. For the dogs, there was a lot of things to keep them busy and entertained. There was a play area where dogs could interact with each other or play a game of fetch, an agility course where they could test out their skills, and even a dock diving competition.

According to the humane society, not only is Saturday’s event a fundraiser for them, but also a way to get out and interact with residents while having a good time. All proceeds raised at today’s event will benefit the Sequoia Humane Society and their work in the community.
