It’s week two of the high school football season. There were five games on the gridiron. Eureka was again home looking for its first win. Hoopa and Del Norte both made their home debuts. Fortuna and McKinleyville were trying to get their first wins of the season on the road.

College of the Redwood has named its starting quarterback for the season opener at Monterey Peninsula. The Corsairs will also call Redwood Bowl home for four of their games this season.

The experts are also back to select the Big 4 Champion.
