Six Rivers Remembering One Of Their Own

HUMBOLDT COUNTY (KIEM)- Six Rivers National Forest is remembering one of their own.

Forest Supervisor Ted McArthur announced on Monday the passing of Mad River District Ranger Daniel “Dan” Dill.

Ranger Dill passed on September 17th after a brief illness.

He began his forest service career in 2008 as a wildlife biologist. In 2015 he became the district ranger at the Mad River Ranger District.

Dan’s memorial service is set for Saturday, September 28th at 1 p.m. at the river lodge in Fortuna.
