Redwood Pride Takes Over Jefferson Community Center

Eureka, Ca., (KIEM) Entertainers hit the stage one by one, some in groups, to strut their stuff at this year’s Community Festival for Redwood Pride.

The auditorium of the Jefferson Community Center in Eureka was packed with folks all in support of equality and justice.

The day was no short of surprises. From live music to a lively drag queen show, the community center was rocking with good energy.

The Redwood Pride Community Festival started back in 2016.

“Humboldt County has one of the healthiest forms of Pride where we are very authentic to ourselves and we never want to cater ourselves to a different graphic that doesn’t really accept us. We’re always so true to ourselves,” said entertainer, Cosmo.

Saturday was the third Annual Community Festival for Redwood Pride.
