Crescent City man sustains major injuries in head-on crash

GASQUET, CA (KIEM)-A crescent city man sustains major injuries after a head-on collision in Del Norte county.

It happened just before 7 am Monday near Gasquet on Highway 199.

A 27-year-old Crescent City man was driving a Toyota truck northbound and crossed into the southbound land colliding with a Chevy Equinox car driven by a 37-year-old female from Roseburg Oregon.

The man sustained major injuries while the woman received minor injuries. Both were transported to the hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
