Wanted Arcata Burglar Caught in the Act

ARCATA, Ca. (KIEM) – An Arcata man is caught burglarizing a food truck.

During a patrol around 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, an Arcata Police officer noticed light coming from a food truck parked near Alliance Rd. and Spear Ave.

The officer found 27-year-old Ian Richards in the truck with the cash register open and in possession of burglary tools.

Richards is previously wanted by Arcata Police for a burglary he committed on Monday, Nov. 25.

Richards is booked on two counts of burglary.
