Possible Water Contamination For Dozens of Brookings Residents

Brookings, Oregon (KIEM)– Residents in Brookings, Oregon may be experiencing contaminated water.

Due to a water pump failure the City of Brookings is experiencing a loss in water pressure in the Dodge Avenue area.

Dozens of residents are being affected from address 97516 to 97170 Dodge Avenue.

The city has placed a boil water order in effect as water may be contaminated.

The city also recommends that even if you have not experienced a loss in water pressure, your tap may still be affected.
