Suspected Heroin Dealer Arrested Again In Fortuna

FORTUNA, Ca (KIEM)-  A known drug dealer is arrested again by the Humboldt County Drug Task Force. Agents conducted a traffic stop on highway 101 near Metropolitan Heights Road in Fortuna early Friday morning after reports that 29-year-old Alissa Kelley was traveling to central California to purchase narcotics.

Kelley was allegedly found with approximately 1.5 ounces of heroin in her vehicle, and was placed under arrest for possession and transportation of controlled substances. The passenger of the vehicle, 31-year-old Perry Sanderson, was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.

Kelley was previously arrested on January 2 at her King Salmon residence for allegedly selling narcotics. Agents located approximately 60 grams of heroin packaged for sale and 3 grams of methamphetamine.

Both Kelley and Sanderson were booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility.
