Ant Invaders in the Home

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM)- With all the inclimate weather we have been seeing,  many residents have complaining about ants inside the home.

Here at redwood news we have a few handy tips on how protect against these pests:

Plug up any holes in the walls and window frames to keep ants from entering. Use Windex-or similar cleaners to wipe away any ant trails so they will not be able to find their way. Placing a moat of soapy water around your pet food bowls to block the ants from getting inside. Making sure to clean up food crumbs helps, however, it is mainly the weather that makes ants seek a new home indoors.
