EUREKA, Ca.(KIEM)-Humboldt Bay Fire Department’s fire dog Cali is in need of help.
Cali the fire dog has been diagnosed with a fast-growing pancreatic cancer.
Without surgery, local vets have given cali a possible life expectancy of only six months.
Cali has been a huge part of the Humboldt Bay Fire educational community. She has gone to local schools and events to teach children and adults what to do in a fire emergency.
She has shown kids how to stop drop and roll, crawl to the phone, dial 9-1-1, and even how to do C.P.R. on your dog.
You can donate to the gofundme at this link to save this doggy hero.
