Six People Arrested for Trafficking Narcotics and Firearms in Eureka

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)- Six people are arrested in Eureka for illegal narcotic and firearm trafficking.

Following a year-long investigation, the Humboldt County Drug Task Force served multiple search warrants at around 6 Tuesday night in Eureka. Warrants were served at homes on cedar and Union Street, Home Drive and a storage unit on Fern Street.

49-year-old Michael Acosta and 37-year-old Sarah Carroll were arrested for possession of controlled substances for sales and owning and operating a known drug house.

46-year-old Tracie Nichols was arrested for possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.

36-year-old Bryan Mcbeth was arrested for possession of controlled substances and violation of probation.

31-year-old Ashley Asti was arrested possession of controlled substances, possession of paraphernalia, and outstanding warrants.

73-year old Richard Haberman was arrested at the home drive location where officers seized nearly half a pound of heroin, and dozens of firearms. Including one that was stolen, two that were California non -compliant assault rifles, and an illegal bump stock.

Agents in this investigation seized 41 firearms, over half a pound of heroin, ten grams of D.M.T., digital scales, drug packaging materials, and dozens of illegally possessed prescription narcotics.

Investigators anticipate additional arrests in the future.
