Soroptimist of Humboldt Bay Award Scholarships to Women in Humboldt County

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)- March is women’s history month and Soroptimist of Humboldt Bay is making this a month to remember for six North Coast residents.

Tonight at the Baywood Golf and Country Club, six scholarships were given to women for their hard work and dedication in the community.

Soroptimist of Humboldt bay is a group of volunteers that helps provide women and girls with the economic power they need to succeed.

All together 65 hundred dollars in scholarship money was handed out. The youngest recipient is 14 years old.
