Local Paramedic Gets Picture Featured on the Today Show

ARCATA, Ca. (KIEM)- A local paramedic was featured this morning on the Today Show.

Emily Whitcomb is a Paramedic with Arcata Mad River ambulance services and had her picture featured on the Today Show.

Whitcomb was featured in the American Hereo’s Segment that honors essential workers.

News Anchor Craig Melvin thanked Whitcomb for her service along with other workers nationwide. Whitomb works three days in a row to help keep her community safe.
