2nd positive Covid-19 case reported in Trinity County

TRINITY COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM)-A second Trinity County resident tests positive for Covid-19 Tuesday, bringing their total number of cases to two.

The Trinity County Public Health Branch was notified the evening of May 9th of their first positive case.

County officials want to reassure residents that efforts continue to protect local communities from the spread of Covid-19.

The individual has been contacted and is now under isolation and all possible contacts have been identified and placed under 14-day quarantine orders.

Just as in Humboldt and Del Norte Counties, Trinity County Officials will not release personal information on the confirmed cases.

Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity County residents have access to Covid-19 tests, at the new OptumServe Testing Sites.
