Eureka Rescue Mission Thrift Store re-opens

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM) – The Eureka Rescue Mission Thrift Store is opening its doors on Tuesday.

After realizing how many people are ready to donate and shop at the thrift store, Chief Executive Bryan Hall formed a plan and protocol procedure to submit to the county.

The thrift store will only allow thirty customers in at a time and ask that six feet guidelines are followed.

Hours have changed from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and they are open Tuesday through Saturday.

Employee numbers are starting small as the store opens slowly and aims toward working its way back up to a consistent staff.

Those planning to donate will be asked to drop off only lightly used and clean clothing. A list of items that are no longer accepted for donation can be found on their website: http://www.eurekarescuemission.org/Thrift_Store/Thrift_Shop.html.
