Chicken and burger lovers must wait, No open date released

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)-In-N-Out Burger appears to be open but according to their corporate office, those craving one of their burgers will have to wait a bit longer.

There are about 10 restaurants set to open, two are in California.

According to In-N-Out, the next restaurant location on their list to open to customers is the Eureka location.

For now, they are still in the midst of training their crew and doing some finishing touches on the inside of their building.

The company says they don’t make it a practice of announcing a tentative open date until about three to four days before their grand opening.

Something some Eureka residents are looking forward to.

And you might have noticed some heavy machinery right across from harbor lanes in Eureka.

KFC got the green light to start construction on their new location on Broadway today.

City of Eureka Public Works’ Director Brian Gerving says knowing the new restaurant is in their beginning phase is exciting.

Unfortunately, an opening date hasn’t been released yet.
