Multiple Vehicle Crash Slows Down Traffic on Broadway

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM) — A multiple vehicle crash shuts down one lane and brings traffic to a crawl along Broadway Monday morning.

Around 11 am, Eureka Police and Humboldt Bay Fire responded to a traffic collision involving 3 vehicles on the 2100 block of Broadway near Harbor Lanes.

A white sedan had major front end damage. According to EPD, one car did flee the scene, but officers were unable to provide a description of the vehicle.

There were two minor injuries. One person was transported to a local hospital and another refused treatment. Northbound traffic was reduced to one lane while officials cleared the scene. The cause is unknown and under investigation.
