Humboldt Youth Soccer League cancels fall season

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM) – The Humboldt Youth Soccer League has replaced its regular fall 2020 soccer season with a virtual program.

The soccer league has officially canceled the regular season after realizing the necessary safety guidelines would not allow regular game play.

They did try to hold on as long as possible by simply postponing the fall registration date.

But, the league hopes the low cost virtual program can be an engaging, fun alternative that will still allow players to learn important soccer skills.
