Bicyclist transported to hospital after being struck by vehicle

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) – A bicyclist is transported to a local hospital after colliding with a Toyota SUV in Eureka.

The collision occurred at the intersection of West Wabash and Spring streets, just before three Thursday afternoon.

According to the Eureka Police Department, the bicyclist was heading west on West Wabash before the vehicle turned onto the street from Spring.

The bicyclist did sustain foot injuries.
