5 cases of Covid-19 reported for Humboldt County Wednesday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — Five new cases of Covid-19 are reported by the Public Health Department Wednesday bringing Humboldt County’s total case count to 200.  Wednesday’s alert level remains at level 2.

Right now, health officials are monitoring 36 active cases with the number of recoveries still at 160. Hospitalizations remains unchanged as well. Of the total cases, 111 had contact to a known case, 55 were travel related, and 26 were a result of community transmission.

Currently, there are 8 cases still under investigation.
