3 Covid-19 cases, 6 recoveries reported for Humboldt County Thursday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — 3 new cases of covid-19 are reported by the public health department Thursday bringing Humboldt County’s total case count to 203. Thursday’s alert level remains at level 2.

On a more encouraging note, 6 more people have recovered from the virus bringing that number to 166. Right now, health officials are monitoring 30 active cases.

Of the total cases, 115 had contact to a known case, 59 were travel related, and 27 were a result of community transmission. Currently, there are 2 cases still under investigation.
