EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM)-Those who’d like to connect over books while social distancing are in luck.
Starting August 1st, the Humboldt County Library is offering a weekly zoom reading group called “Reading in Place.”
It’s a way for the community to stay connected while sheltering in place.
Participants will discuss a different short story every saturday, the stories can easily be found online.
Those interested can sign up using the library’s google form, you’ll receive an email with the zoom meeting invite and that week’s reading selection, then all you have to do is log on and start chatting.
If you have any trouble using the form or have questions click here.
