SUV loses control and flips, Police attempting to locate unoccupied vehicle’s owner

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM)-A female motorist is expected to be ok after a tire issue caused her vehicle to veer into a parked SUV, which caused the vehicle she was driving to flip on its side.

Eureka police and Humboldt Bay Fire were dispatched to Harrison Avenue at around 5 p.m. Saturday, to an injury traffic collision.

The parked tan Dodge Durango did not have an occupant inside but was pushed onto the sidewalk when hit and had to be towed.
The owner of the vehicle can call the Eureka Police Department to locate the their towed SUV.

Harrison avenue was closed to one lane for more than an hour.
