Humboldt State University closes campus Friday following poor air quality

ARCATA, Calif. (KIEM)- Humboldt State University will remain closed today for face to face courses and outdoor activities. This is due to smoke from surrounding fires in near the county.

All outdoor actives at this time are also cancelled. Virtual instruction will still operate as normal.

For students who are currently enrolled on campus, services such as the Student Health Center, UPD, Dining and Housing will remain available. Employees at this time are required to work from home today.
