Slater and Devil Fires Burn Over 163,000 Acres

DEL NORTE AND SISKIYOU COUNTIES, Ca. (KIEM) -Crews continue to battle the Slater and Devil Fires in Del Norte and Siskiyou counties.

The Slater Fire has burned more than 155,000 acres and is 65% contained. The Devil Fire is now 8,693 acres with 30% containment.

Crews continue to patrol along the northern and southern areas of the fire and are building fire lines into the Fort Goff Creek area.
