Female motorist extricated from roll over crash

SAMOA, Calif. (KIEM)-Samoa Peninsula Fire District responded to a single vehicle roll-over crash at about 6:20 p.m. Saturday.

Samoa Fire says, their chief officer and an engine arrived to a black sedan on its roof – with a female inside off New Navy Base and Bay Street on the Samoa peninsula. 

The unidentified woman had to be extricated from the vehicle and was taken to the hospital for treatment of her minor injuries. 

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
