Christmas tree permits available Nov. 1

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM) – One holiday tradition that continues during the pandemic is cutting your own, fresh Christmas tree.

Officials with the Six Rivers National Forest have announced that Christmas tree permits will be available on November 1st.

The permit will cost you $10 dollars, plus a $2.50 service fee.

There are some areas in the Six Rivers National Forest that are off limits to Christmas tree cutting due to fires in the area.
