M.E.T warrant served for illegal cannabis cultivation

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – Deputies eradicate nearly 13,000 growing cannabis plants, and destroyed nearly 2,000 pounds of cannabis bud and shake.

Four parcels were investigated by the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team in Eureka and Larabee due to their lack of commercial cultivation permits.

Assisting agencies discovered water diversion and pollution violations along with a violation for depositing trash in or nearby a waterway.

No arrests were made and the case has been forwarded to the D.A. office for review.
