Do1Thing November: prepare emergency kits

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM) – The Humboldt County Office of Emergency Services is unveiling its Do1thing Project to promote emergency preparedness in our community.

The program focuses on a different area of individual preparedness each month. November’s theme is to plan your emergency kits.

Create an emergency supply kit for your home, car, workplace, and your pets.

Stash some cash- just in case A.T.M. or credit card machines are not accessible, and make sure your supplies are organized and in an easily to find place.
