Betty Kwan Chinn Day Center helps house homeless community during Winter season

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM)- Now that Winter is here some folks are wondering what this will mean for the local homeless population.

On top of the colder weather, you also have to keep coronavirus restrictions in mind.

The Betty Kwan Chinn Day Center in Eureka is  working closely with the community and city officials to take in those who need help during these difficult times..

Chinn says tents are being used for quarantining before people can come into the day center.
