HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department reports 49 new cases of Covid-19 Thursday. The total case count has risen to 2,220. Health officials are tracking 536 active cases.
The number of hospitalizations remains unchanged, and northern California’s ICU capacity has held at 17.6%. The most common means of transmission is still contact to a known case.
On a more encouraging note, 58 more recoveries were also reported bringing that number to 1,660.
