31 new Covid-19 cases, 46 more recoveries reported Thursday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department confirms 31 new cases of Covid-19 Wednesday. The total case count is now 2,458 with health officials monitoring 490 active cases.

Four new hospitalizations were also reported. There are 14 people currently in the hospital with Covid-19, and 5 are in the ICU. Northern California’s ICU capacity is at 28.5%.

The main transmission type remains contact to a known case. There were 46 more recoveries also reported bringing that number to 1,970.
