Highway 101 closed at Last Chance Grade, opening to one-way traffic control Monday night

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — Highway 101 at Last Chance Grade south of Crescent City is fully closed due to a slide. According to Caltrans District 1, there was a lot of slide activity overnight. Crews are working to remove rocks and other debris from the road.
