Arcata Playhouse’s fifth annual Zero to Fierce Women’s Festival goes virtual

ARCATA, Calif. (KIEM)- Arcata Playhouse’s fifth annual zero to fierce women’s festival is going virtual.

It is a week-long event and the theme of this year’s online celebration is women as activists.

The event will feature various performing and visual artists as well as chefs, faith leaders and social activists.

Most of the event will be free and give people a chance to stream all day or drop-in to an event that peaks their interest.

The event will be held in March and will consist of five daily series.

“It starts on the eighth, which is International Women’s Day, all the way to Sunday, March 14,” said Laura Muñoz, the Project Coordinator for Arcata Playhouse. “We have events in the morning, lunch box, afternoon, kid stuff and a couple of performances.”
