The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office yearly report.

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM) – The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office has released its yearly report.

During 2020, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 60,755 calls for service.

More than 1,000 arrests were made, and more than 1,200 citations were issued.

More than 6,000 inmates were booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility.  75%  were male and 25 % were female.

In 2020, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office had 127 Sheriff’s Deputies and 109 Correctional Deputies.

The total operating budget last year was a little more than $44 million dollars.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Deputy briefings went to an online format, and dozens of inmates were given early release.
