Shooting in Blocksburg

BLOCKSBURG, Ca. (KIEM) – The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that happened over the weekend in Blocksburg.

Just before 5 a.m. on Sunday morning, two vehicles were seen on video surveillance driving up to a property on the 800 block of Sylvan Glade Road.  Eight suspects got out of the cars and cut the lock to the gate and walked onto the property.

Two of the suspects then approached the home and pulled out guns and fired multiple rounds at the building. 

All of the suspects took off after that.

One suspect is described as a heavy-set male who is Hispanic or Eastern European.

The first suspect vehicle is a black, Nissan, four-door sedan.

The other one is a silver minivan.
