Daniel Milich, branch manger for Security Lock and Alarm in Eureka, says that people are most interested in getting better cameras around the house.

“They are wanting cameras with more clarity. Something more than the old analog systems, which of course is what the technology is these days,” Milich said. “They are higher resolution but they’re wanting higher resolution for something that they can have, concrete and take to the authorities.”

Milich says that getting better lighting and a better alarm system are great, but the best way to keep you home safe is having a good relationship with your neighbors so you can keep an eye on one another.
