EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM)- At about 1 a.m. Thursday, crews responded to a call from a homeowner on the 2300 block of Hillsdrive about a smell of smoke.

When crews arrived and went down the street, they spotted a smoke column coming from a building off Harrison Avenue near Munson Street and Hardy Drive.
