Man Arrested For Narcotics Sales and Firearm Trafficking

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) – A Humboldt County man has been arrested for narcotics sales and firearm trafficking. 

An investigation into 27-year-old Brodie Houseworth had been underway for several weeks, and on October 26th the Humboldt County Drug Task Force served a search warrant at his home on the 2800 Block of Van Duzen Road in Alton. 

Agents arrested Houseworth and located a loaded firearm in the back pocket of his jeans.  

A search of the residence was done and 30 additional firearms were found along with 5 individually packaged bags of methamphetamine, 2 digital scales, and packaging materials for drug sales.  

Houseworth was booked into the Humboldt County jail for possession of a controlled substance while armed, possession of methamphetamine for sale, and operating a drug house.
