Suspect Arrested Following Domestic Disturbance

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) – A Humboldt County man has been arrested following a report of a domestic disturbance.  

On October 26th, just before 10:30p.m., the Humboldt County sheriff’s deputies were called to the 200 block of Central Avenue in Fields Landing for the report of a domestic disturbance. 

Deputies arrived in the area and located a female victim with minor injuries.  

The male suspect, who deputies confirmed as 20-year-old Cristian Noel Verduzco-Munguia, had already left the scene.  

On October 27th just before 2:30a.m. deputies located the suspect driving a vehicle near Loleta and attempted a traffic stop.  

Verduzco-Munguia exited the vehicle and made gestures indicating that he may be in possession of a weapon.  

The suspect advanced toward deputies, and a taser was used, striking the suspect.  

Verduzco-Munguia was taken into custody and booked into the Humboldt County jail on numerous charges.
