Search Efforts Continue For Missing Hunter in Mendocino County

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) – A Humboldt County hunter is missing near Covelo.  

A search for 48-year-old John Davis was conducted on October, 27^th at the 8-mile bridge on highway 162 west of Covelo.  

Davis went missing early Sunday morning while hunting in the area with his son.  

Davis’ dog has been located, but Davis is still missing.  

He is 5 foot 11 inches and has brown hair and blue eyes.  

Davis was last seen wearing a camouflage rain jacket and neon green pants with a reflective stripe.
