The 14th annual Subaru Share the Love Event will help deliver nutritious meals and compassion to local seniors

EUREKA, Calif.(KIEM)- Humboldt Senior Resource Center is proud to be participating once again with Subaru Share the Love Event as a member of Meals on Wheels America. One of four national Share the Love charitable partners supported through the campaign till January 3. Subaru of America will donate 250 dollars for every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased to the customer’s choice. As a hometown charity, Humboldt Senior Resource Center has the opportunity to receive an additional 250 dollars per vehicle from McCrea Subaru when designated by the buyer.

“McCrea Subaru will match those donations, so it will be a 500 dollar donation that comes to our nutrition program… most of those donations go to our home delivery program, which provides meals for homebound and isolated seniors in our community between Fortuna and McKinleyville,” said Tasha Romo, Director of Nutrition & Activities at Humboldt Senior Resource Center.
