Armed Robbery at Samoa Beach

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s office is issuing a warning tonight to beachgoers. It comes after an armed robbery in the parking lot of Samoa Beach late in the week of January 24,2022. Deputies say a woman was robbed after confronting a knife-wielding burglar who was breaking into her car. The 6-foot tall man who was wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt stole her purse before fleeing in a late 90’s model 4-door sedan. Deputies warn those visiting local beaches and trails not to leave any valuables inside your vehicle.
