ACCUSED FENTANYL DEALERS ARRESTED

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) Humboldt’s drug task force says it stopped a pair of Eureka drug dealers from bringing a shipment of fentanyl into the county from San Francisco. 32-year-old Christopher Battles Newcomb and his girlfriend, 30-year-old Karli Anagnost were caught while driving up the highway 101 corridor. Authorities say they found three ounces of fentanyl along with smaller quantities of other drugs in the couple’s car. The drug task force says majority of the fentanyl that ends up in Humboldt is brought up from San Francisco.
