ST. JOSEPH’S HOSPITAL GETS $100K GRANT

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) A major gift will help Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Eureka and The Hospice of Humboldt expand care options for seriously ill patients.

The hospital and hospice group today announced the receipt of a 100-thousand-dollar grant from a providence fund. That money will go towards the launch and development of a community-based specialized care program for those with serious illnesses, such as cancer. St. Joseph’s will work with Hospice of Humboldt to extend care from inside the hospital to the homes of patients who need it most.
