FOOD FOR PEOPLE DISTRIBUTION

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) Food for People latest giveaway for Humboldt County residents in need will take place today. The food bank’s spring drive-thru distribution is set to happen at Eureka’s Bayshore Mall. It will be in the mall’s north parking lot from 11 a-m to 1 p-m today, April 28, 2022. You will be able to stock up on non-perishable items and fresh produce. The food bank asks that you wear a mask and stay in your car as volunteers will load the food into your vehicle. Organizers say the rise in food and gas prices has increased the need for the food bank’s services. People are finding it hard to make ends meet.
