Coach arrested for child sex crimes

EUREKA, Ca.- A Eureka basketball coach is arrested for child sex charges.

Nathan Thomas Hently was a volunteer basketball coach at Eureka High School and a walk-on coach last year.

He is the subject of an ongoing investigation with the Fortuna Police Department and was arrested last night on multiple child sex crime charges.

At this time, there is no indication of any Eureka City School students being involved.

He has been removed from volunteer and coaching status with Eureka City Schools.
