The Hambro Recycling center has returned after the COVID-19 pandemic 

For those unaware and in need of a recycling facility the Hambro Recycling site in Arcata has been open for over a year now after its long break during the COVID-19 pandemic. There are other new sites also open in Fortuna and a new pilot program site in Willow Creek that started in April.

Manager of the Arcata site, Chris German, tells us what’s new and explains how the process works for new and returning customers and how it is made to create a fast and convenient experience. 

“I think it’s a real asset to the community and it’s just a really nice resource to have and place to take our recycling,” said community member Barbara Nelson.

People can locate the Hambro Recycling facility at 420 South G Street in Arcata from Tuesday through Saturday at 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
