Uplift and C.A.P.E in Eureka is providing job searching, housing and more resources

Uplift and C.A.P.E Eureka is a program that’s under the City of Eureka with a mission to provide quality life programming and opportunities for all members of the community regardless of living situation or income.

Sierra Wood, the homeless services coordinator at Uplift and C.A.P.E in Eureka, gives us insight about the different programs offered to ensure that the local community is able to access and have the support needed during job searching, housing and more.

Ultimately the program’s goal is to serve the local community wherever that need is. They partner with many agencies in the area to identify what the needs are, what sort of resources people are hoping to get access to whether that be getting a cellphone, obtaining personal birth certificate documentation or building your resume and things of that sort.
