Azalea Festival Featured On PBS

Brookings (Oregon) — Keegan Van Hook, producer and host of the PBS show “Us As We Are”, was impressed by the community spirit of the Azalea Festival, filming this year’s festivities for the show. And this year’s turn out was considered one of the best attended.

Visitors and festival attendees were treated many things, including a retro 70’s rock concert, magic show, airplane rides, a car show and much more!

Van Hook and his filming crew attended the Friday Night Dance Party hosted by the Brookings Harbor Chamber of Commerce, the parade and street fair organized by the city of Brookings staff, and the concert sponsored by Lucky 7 Casino and Hotel.
